Mercury Workshop Practicum May 16TH and 17TH

This is a class and practicum on working with actual mercury and processing it into a tincture.

As a metallic work it requires knowledge of laboratory Work. Not a beginners class! Due to the nature of the material, this class is only opened to previous students who have completed Tertia or have extensive experience in laboratory work that we can verify.

Class outline:

• How to work safely with mercury and its compounds
• Purification methods East and West
• Conversion of quicksilver into various salts and amalgams
• Extraction of a tincture from Mercury
• Mercury in the acetate path
• Testing final products for the presence of mercury
• Path of the Divine Cinnabar
